Below are some helpful tips on how to maintain your hair care extensions.

Co-wash your extensions on a weekly basis (if possible). *Cowashing is simply washing your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo.

If your extensions are excessively dirty and require a good wash, use a sulfate free shampoo. Sulfate based products tend to dry the hair out, which increases shedding and tangling.

Avoid the use of heat too often (i.e. blowdrying, straightening, etc. Invest in a good leave in conditioner for daily care of your curly and/or wavy extensions.

Use a good heat protectant when straightening or curling your extensions.

Avoid alcohol-based styling products if possible. These products tend to dry out your extensions.

If you decided to color your bundles, it is key that you keep them regularly moisturized and conditioned. Deep conditioning is best.

When combing or brushing, start at the ends and work your way up to the root to avoid excessive tangling.

Seal your wefts before installation if there's a possibility that they will be cut. This cuts down on the possibility of shedding

For closures and frontals, be gentle when combing or brushing to avoid tearing of the lace and balding of the closure or frontal.
